    Hello all- I am listing for sale my 1999 Dodge Viper GTS. The car is black with silver stripes over cognac leather; it has @ 20k original miles, and has just had @ $5k worth of mechanical repairs/updates to fully correct any known issues . Recent work was done by a viper specialist at an authorized Dodge dealership- receipts available. In addition to addressing any known issues, car has just been professionally detailed top to bottom. Interested and *serious* buyers are welcome to speak with the tech at the AD that performed the work, AND are also welcome to have a qualified mechanic of their choosing inspect the car to their satisfaction.     Nice bang for the buck there. I almost a blue/white gts years ago. After driving 200 miles to see the car one look and could tell the front end had been smashed up so walked away. In retrospect it all worked out for the best at that young if an age I probably wouldnt have made it to 30.

    I love this car and if I could swing it right now I would buy it! I already have an 02 GTS and this is going to be one of those cars in 20 years that we will say I could have bought for 38k.Good luck with the sale someone will be a Happy New Owner!

    Also- I would consider trading up to an 02 - 05 360 spider in GT, TDF, or California Azzuro. NO SCUDERIA SHIELDS, no blue or red interiors either.

    Beautiful car, great color combination. If the mechanicals are nearly as perfect as the cosmetics, this is a very desirable Viper indeed. I don't believe I've ever seen as handsome an interior as the cognac leather in this car.
    Mike, where are you/the car located? Wrong time of the year for a fly and drive and likely very far from me in the greater Denver metro area (80504) but I still want to know. At the moment I'm chasing a series II XKE coupe, but this car of yours certainly is tempting.

    Ha !- I am about to post some info and just noticed that the car is a '99- I swear I thought it was a '98 this whole time.

    Mods- I have no idea how to change the thread title to accurately reflect the fact that it's a 1999- can someone there do (or send me instructions of how to do so) ? Thanks.

    ****- trying to post pics of the carfax up and having issues.

    VIN is - 1 B 3 E R 6 9 E 3 X V 5 0 3 9 5 4

    As soon as I can figure out what I'm doing wrong, I'll post pics of the CarFax, and the recent bill showing what repairs/updates were done to the car to make it ready to sell.

    Also, I've texted a buddy of mine who is a professional photographer to get some good pics done of the car, including the engine and undercarriage. As of right now, car is only on Fchat- once I get nicer pics done I'll put it on cars.com and/or autrader.com.

    I have no idea if '99 is more or less desirable than '98 ( I seem to recall reading that there was something 'special' about the '98s- forged internals or something) and don't have time to research it right now.

    1999 was the last year for forged internals and the first year for a Black GTS and the Connelly Cognac leather option.

    Other new features over a 1998 include 18-inch wheels , power mirrors, aluminum-finished interior accents, and a new gearshift knob.

    The Black/Silver Stripe/Cognac Interior is a rather rare combination. I think you have a desirable combination overall.
