Pics of Ryan's real house... Man this is just sad. Check out the ripped off photo of the inside of his corvette.... Corvette Forum - ferraribuyer's Album: Corvette Z06
Ryan, as I said in email, apologize to community for jerking them around and lying about the 275 etc and we'll close this off. you just keep shooting yourself in the foot, trust me now is the time to stop.
Ryan must have a twin in Oregon. His online presence and behavior matches exactly to a scammer who took me and a few others on a wild ride last year. Started as a casual conversation at the racetrack "how can one of my buddies get his vintage F1 car on the track for a few laps?". The story eventually expanded to include: **1/3 owner in a private company being bought by a large electronics company for ~$4 billion, making his share around $1.2B **part of the witness protection program, as one of the other two owners of the company had hired a hit man, and was serving time for the crime **constant delays in his access to funds because the SEC had to approve the sale of his (privately held) company to the larger (publically traded) company **had a "financial advisor" call from another state to verify his assets. Phone number matched with a general contractor/landscaper **frequently took calls from his lawyer in SoCal and screamed at him to "do what I tell you!" when others were around to hear it **identified over $45m in real estate that he wanted to purchase as a way to shelter his investments **showed pictures of the Scud which he had supposedly purchased for me, so I could continue to instruct him at the racetrack alongside him in his F40 and F50 via radio **told a prominent tax attorney that he could not possibly understand the complexity of what the scammer was going to be working through after he got his payout **promised a $10m donation to the favorite charity of a good friend with brain cancer **visiting a few $3m+ homes with his family, and telling the kids to "go pick out your room" The truly sad part is that he is married and has three kids. Imagine telling your kids to go pick out their new room in a dream house estate, when you actually live in a rental house with the front door lock falling off the door. The narcissist who loves himself more than his own kids.
I leave for few hours and BOOOMMMMM... great find my friends... the funny thing is that I know of another Ryan... kinda took advantage of a Fchatters too. I was concerned this was the same Ryan I knew.
He bought the car from Steve in NM off of Ebay a few months back for $38,500.00 Put a new windshield in it, had the dash recovered, and bam on autotrader for 55k or here for 48k. This car is the subject of two previous threads on Fchat.
Wow... crazy thread, this. Banned, unbanned, moved to Rossa, moved back.... my head is spinning trying to follow it all. So is the OP gone then? Trying to catch up ... Jedi
Oh, not a face palm to you, to the OP. I just think it's funny how cars are discussed here, in multiple threads and then someone comes in here cold trying to sell said car without any knowledge of the previous discussion, and when he's called out on it, he doubles down. Internet: It's for getting things done. I think this one is going to crash and burn pretty quickly. Too bad. These things used to last days if not weeks. Remember Scooby Snacks? That took days to unravel. -F
Yes this is true... Butt i was referring to... say... a different Steve. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.)
This thread is a perfect example of why no one should put their personal life on the Internet via Facebook etc.
I think he has been subscribed and unsubscribed. There is a lot of back story in this thread. I cannot tell if the car is still for sale or not.
One thing that is not for sale is any property from our buddy Ryan. His license is toast!! I wonder if Brad had that chat with him yet...?
