Do you still have the OEM take-off front bumper and side skirts to provide with the car?
Yes, esp if PPi checks out fine. Nice car in and out. Manual tranny. Resale red. Recent major service. If one thinks this is a $50-60k-car, well, keep on dreaming. (I apologize to the OP for partially "hijacking" his thread with price discussion).
Opinions are dime a dozen but not clean F cars and serious buyers are not. Hang in there, the right buyer will come along. I am speaking from experience. Had I believed all these reports, my TR would have been priced at 40K at the time. If you are serious, have your cash ready, make a private offer and get a deal done. Great color combo, I love GATED F cars... GLWS.
Just wondering if the car passes CA smog. I see the out of state plates, and I know how difficult it is to get a 360 to pass smog in CA- especially a 99. Though it can be done (speaking from experience).
Nice Red, 3-Pedal 360! Serious buyers, I'd contact the OP privately and arrange something. Looks like a great car.
Sorry, I needed the space in my garage, so the bumper was sold on this thread here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-parts-collectibles/451167-front-bumper-360-rosso-corsa.html and the side-skirts (as also seen in that thread above), were sold to another f-chat member Yes, the car passes CA smog. I also have the smog cert from the previous seller at time of purchase. The vehicle was registered in Oregon for other reasons.
At 45-55k for a car like the one shown I'll take 4 please all day long. A well documented 99 with complete service is high 60s to mid 70's all day long. I go to Manheim auctions and unknown cars are bringing more than 50 with bad color combo's. Maybe if the car has a salvage title and is a euro spec car then maybe 50000 but a US clear title car with under 50k miles for that cheap is a stretch or I am living in a bubble. Anyone wanted to sell their 1999 2000 for 50 grand that looks like the one above please contact me I am a cash buyer
If I could sell my 1987 Ferrari 328 GTB red/tan for a market-correct price, (24,xxx miles, fresh service) I would be an immediate buyer. Anybody interested? Greg Houston
Atomicskiracer, I'm sure that this is Market for this car... Just hold on for the next fortunate buyer who has enough sense to buy the best car for his/her budget... Miles are in line for a 1999! Those cars that sit and sit under a car cover are the ones that have the biggest problems... I have forwarded this post to a possible buyer... P.S. The loudness of the car with the current set us might be a little much for some on the street. GLWS!!! Kelvin
I may have missed the answer to this question, if so let me know what it is. This car has out of state license plates, but is in Southern California (at least I thin it is). To sell the car in California it will have to pass a smog test. Has it passed one? If not, why not?
What do you consider market correct price for your 328 GTB? PM if that is better to keep this thread on track.
The vehicle was registered in Oregon for personal reasons (as I also have a legal residence there) The car has not been California smog'd for resale for two simple reasons: 1) Because the next buyer may not be located in California. 2) The smog cert is only good for 90 days, and I know we are heading into the slow selling season, so I might as well wait until I have a deposit in hand from a California buyer before I have it smog'd. And yes, the car has passed CA smog multiple times in the past. I also have a copy of the smog cert at the time I purchased it. Please let me know if you have any further questions...
