Hello guys my Ferrari 360 1999 with 34k miles
Just started having a misfired all of the sudden .
The vehicle has been serviced last year(3k miles) , new belts, spark plugs , fluids, etc
Just recently I went to a 200 cell cat and tune by Trev360. Car was driving fenomenal for about 400 miles and all of the sudden started misfiring .
I noticed the left side cat was glowing.

I’m getting code for cyl 5 and 2.
Steady , reset one and got the same codes

    So far :
-I’ve pulled spark plugs they looks ok maybe on the lean side .

-Inspected cat and doesn’t look melted of cooked .

I have new coils , sparks plugs , and o2 sensors coming . Not installed yet

I’m going to switch the coil to see if is transfers

What other test I can do ?
What are my worst case scenarios ?$$
I don’t do engine stuff just basic stuff ..

    Thank you in advance !!

Check the gap on those plugs that are misfiring. I had a misfire and I checked the gap on my new NGKs I installed and the one that was misfiring was slightly over 0.7. Gapped down to a hair over 0.6 and no misfires at all since. Definitely swap the coils too. That’s an easy test you can do now.

You have new coils on the way.. If never replaced yet, do them and go from there.

Swap coils and clear.. but make sure those aren't stored codes. Might need a more advanced scanner. Intake gasket could be causing a lean condition which lean means glowing.
But coils will be my bet

No joy with coil swap. Then swap out 2 and 5 injector see if code moves after resting OBD codes. Almost no one has injectors cleaned and these cars are 100 years old.

I had my injectors cleaned/balanced about 2 years ago. It made a big difference. The shop I take my 99 to decided to make it a part of their major service when working on these cars because of how unbalanced and clogged the injectors were.

Get some injector cleaner and put a good slug in the fuel tank with less than 1/4 full. See if that helps in case you have dirty injector. Cheap experiment. Any chance you are getting low fuel pressure on one bank ? What is the fuel filter setup on it.
The 430 has low and high speed relays for each fuel pump, is the 360 the same setup.

What do people recommend here for a good injector cleaner?
