I carry the new line of Accutron. Not tuning fork anymore, just quartz and Automatic. Tell him to be careful with the watch, if and when it stops running, they are very expensive and almost impossible to repair due to unavailability of parts. I saw a watch that the hands were a pair of scissors and thought of the 355 boys.
awe man.. .... so you don't carry those eh?? I thought it was awesome !! I am still looking for something unique though ...... does that scissor one come in nero???
THere are so many cool watches on the market now.. Take a look First one is a Ltd Edition of the Original Accutron Astronaut. the next are a Ball watch! This one has a DLC coating on the case and a TON of Tritium capsules on the dial! Freakin cool watches www.Ballwatch.com Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
So the top one is a re-issue of an old tuning fork accutron with an auto movement? Does the second one come with a nero metal band?? 285...... can't you wait until the next 355 online car show????
Last question.... is the second one always lit up at night or only if you press a button? I'd hate to be a full time Christmas Tree at night...... .
ALWAYS glowing! That is what makes it so cool. Tritium capsules everywhere. Glows for 25 years! So....if your 355 breaks down in a cave and you can't get out, your watch will be your flashlight! Not all have different color capsules. Most are just green(which is the brightest of all the colors offered). This one has green and a few orange. And it has an analog thermometer on the dial So you'll know when the nero thing you have is overheating Image Unavailable, Please Login
After looking at a bunch of pics of the 550---Can't do it...Now the 575M---is a different story, but out of my price range!!
The 575 does look great..... though I still enjoy the agility of the smaller lighter 355 . Maybe when I get the craziness out of my system and start to enjoy touring more..... well then who knows.... .....
I wish. I own about two dozen wathes, but my most expensive one is a Tiger Woods Tudor. Cost me about $2400 when I got married in 2000. Other than my Tag Huer and Movado, most of my wathches cost less than $250. My dream is a Yachtmaster or Daytona. Who knows, the Ferrari was only a dream once. The new TAG Carrera looks real nice too. I have a Blue Angels that I'm trying to get Chris up here to program for me. I guess I could read the freakin' manual. I'm like Modona, no, not like a virgin, but a material guy........wanna be. Bee Jay
The manuals are available online now. The Caliber number is on the back of the watch. So, you can program it while reading Fchat http://www.citizenwatch.com/COA/English/settings.asp
Wow i ran a watch and clock shop just like yours ( bit bigger) for a few years. Funny listening to your responses as i have explained and consulted the exact same things in the past. where is your shop located?
Hey Chris: Just got the hat today. Thanks! Took some snaps with it. Do you guy's buy/sell Rolex's. I have a Submariner that I owned for the past five years or so and I'm looking to trade it in for a stainless steel Daytona.
