My 570 was due for its first service...... which amounts to an oil change and some checking for $1500.

Among a few things I do, I own a performance tuning company. My guys are good. This should be a breeze.

Easiest oil change I have done in years! I do know why they seal the engine up. It's not pretty. Mac just doesn't do the engine jewelry like Ferrari does... but man does it get the job done!

It would be a nice touch if we could actually buy a workshop manual and a dx tool, but oh well.

Thank you for posting those pictures.

I’m interested in a Maclaren, and have found their hidden engines odd. Now I know why.

By the way, I think that this is engine jewelry:

    Cool engine.

I think half is they want to discourage non-dealers working on them. The other half is they spent all their money on performance and none on the fluff.

I agree. Which means they spend money where it really counts.

I think the interior of a 570 is much better than a 458/488. The dynamics, too.

Although I think both sound weak. That engine above is my supercharged and unmuffled Pur Sang Bugatti 35B, and it has now spoiled me for engine sound.

You should do a "how to" vid and post it on YouTube.

Its great to see people working on their own cars.

I never think to do that. I don't know how many timing belt changes I've done on many different Ferraris and I barely will take a picture, unless I need to remember something. I guess we are too busy turning wrenches to take the time to video, but it always sounds like a good idea. I don't know how many times at the end of a job I think, "I should have taken a video".

The oil change was literally ridiculously easy.
