1st Annual Marin County CHP, Police & Fire Rib Cook-off Benefit

Attention FOG members & FChat enthusiasts from the Bay Area.

It's been a while since I've last posted, but wanted to extend a warm hello to all of you and an invite to this coming Saturday's Marin County Police & Fire 1st Annual rib cook-off/benefit.

After almost losing my life in an head- on auto accident (at the hands of someone driving in the wrong direction on 101) last November, I'd have to say I'm quite a bit more aware of the need for showing support and recognition of the CHP 11-99 Foundation and the Widows and Orphans Fund than ever before.

It would be a wonderful demonstration of support for any or all who can make this event that's being hosted by the Marin Area Squad Club.

Perhaps my fellow FOG members will consider adding this event to the calender in the future as another way of giving thanks and showing support.

Where: Birkenstock Novato-South Parking Lot (Directions)

When: July 26, 2014

On another note...

Life's changes since the accident reminded me how important music has been to me not only in the past, but also during my recovery. Saturday's benefit will be the first time for me to perform music in public since 1990. Look for the music starting around 11 AM and then again at 1 PM.
