    Very cool...

    Few questions:

Is he really short - or are you really tall?

I am surprised he did not order the Callisto wheels...

So to my count - there are now 5 Spyders in the US now sold. (2 of which I believe have not been picked up yet. And I agree with you that this is the first customer ordered one that has been delivered.

Did this get flow over - I talked with my dealer and the first Boat Load is still in Transit from what they told me. Mine is still 20 days away from me being able to pick it up (Shipment, Customs, Delivery to Ohio ~20 - 35 days). I know my dealer had there first dealer owned one flow over which they got late last week or early this week - just wondering if that is the case with this one.

PS. They also told me they do not have as of yet the full inventory of which cars are on the first boat load either - but that is starting to trickle in.. Any confirmation on this?

I thought he was a die hard Ferrari guy? Does anyone remember the incident about him gassing up his Ferrari while smoking a cig and caught the car of fire?

Very cool to sell him a car, the commission will repay you for the Aerosmith CDs you bought:cool:

    Wayne,

I think the idea of a TT Spyder is not such a good idea (In my personal opinion). Not that it is a terrible idea or anything - but for the performance aspect the TT on the coupe makes more sense, added rigidity, saftey (turnovers) - can't track spyders, etc.

    Just a thought :)

    Tommy,

Grigio Proteus (that dark grey color - that kindof changes colors at different angles) with Black seat and the blood red inserts (a little wild for my usual MW conservative norms - but hey it is a spyder).

    6 Speed Manual
    Nav and Backup camera
    Branding Package
    Callisto Wheels
    etc. etc.

Only options I did not get was the E-Gear and the Carbon Fiber Engine Package (for 6,800) figured if I wanted that - I could do it aftermarket cheaper...

    Hope all is well!

What was funny was that it was the AM/L of NE salesman who mentioned a "local rock band member" had just gotten an Elise but couldn't say who, and I quickly said, "oh, the drummer for Aerosmith." He laughed and asked how I knew... I just put it together that they're the biggest band around here and he collects exotics. I can't picture James Taylor driving an Elise!

Nice guess, check out www.naplesmotorsports.com and look at their recent sales page, they have a pic of him taking delivery of the Elise up here at Corvette Mike's. I'm good friends w/ the general manager and owner of Naples and I guess they speak to Joey on somewhat of a regular basis. I know they've done business w/ him in the past but I don't know exactly what's he's bought from them or sold to them. All the guys in Aerosmith are huge car guys. I heard that Joey Kramer built a smaller house recently but it has a 9 car garage or something like that and Tom Hamilton's house is currently for sale and it has a 3 car attached and a 6 or 9 car detached garage! Ahhhh... the life of a rock & roll star!

I was in Dulles, Virginia a day after this guy took delivery of his gallardo spyder and I saw a gallardo spyder on the other side of the highway in the same color combo!!! Could it have been the famous aerosmith driver taking a major roadtrip to DC? I didn't see the plate cuz i was on the other side of the highway, but does anyoen know?
