    Blue VW Beetle - crashed it within weeks of starting to drive - evil handling car.
    As Ralph Nader said - "unsafe at any speed".
    Then a Hillman Imp - it burnt a gallon of oil a week.
    tHEN Mini, Escort, Cortina, Allegro, Princess - all complete crap.
    Then I bought Japanese - and stopped having to call out the RAC.....

    1978 went to Germany with the RAF bought a brand new Capri 1.6L remember it fondly.It had a problem with the windscreen wipers.if they stopped(frequently)I had to lift then drop the bonnet,sold it to aMate of mine but forgot to tell him about the problem,wasn"t very happy when I tols Him the solution.
