    Hello

I am planning on purchasing my first Ferrari 348.

My only fear is how expensive the maintenance can be. Any sugegstions on what you can do to do quality service for less using good parts?

I found good prices for items on www.ricambiamerica.com . Can I get all my ferrari parts here or are there any other sites like this? Are there some parts that I have to go to the dealer for?

Lastly question - What would a fair price be for a 92 348 TS with 51K miles for in fair to good shape?

Do the 348s have an intermittent check engine light coming and going from time to time

    Thansk fro your help

I would say about $45k would be average for what you describe. Ricambi is a great supplier of the highest quality parts. Trutlands is also good, and there are a few other places you can go. Very few parts are available exclusively from the dealer. You should not buy a 348 unless you can handle a $10k repair bill without the need for medication. They are generally pretty reliable but are like chocolates, as Forrest Gump would say 'You never know what your gonna get'.
