    Bob, I'm not sure.

On second look I think the 355 wheel I have is aluminum but either painted black or anodized.

Agreed with Dave as to the location of the horn buttons but strange yours doesn't have the separate perforated grip sections.

Either way, very nice looking wheel.

BTW, if you still need an adapter I won't be using the one I modified.

I'll take you up on that.

I am still confused as to the 25/50mm adaptor thing. If this was a 355 wheel mounted with no adsptor and ended up at the correct driving position, was the stalk longer in the cars that came with this wheel?

I guess I just need to disassemble mine and get into it.

The 25 or 50mm spacers are just that, a spacer that would either go between your stock hub and stock airbag steering wheel or in this case, between the stock hub and the adapter. (if you want the wheel closer).

SWA-355-02 is the adapter I bought and adapts 6 bolt airbag pattern hub to small 4 bolt OEM non airbag wheel pattern. It puts the non airbag wheel the same distance from the driver as the stock airbag wheel.

So, if you like where the stock wheel is, you only need SWA-355-02.

If you want it closer you would also need one of the 25 or 50mm spacers.

I get what the adaptors accomplish but exactly how was this wheel attached OEM? Does it need an adaptor on my car because they changed the stalk from non air bag to airbag models?

If yes then is it that the airbag stalk is shorter requiring a spacer in my car to position this wheel at the same location as the OEM airbag wheel is now?

In addition to shortening the stalk they changed the mounting screw locations as well?

In the following pic the left steering wheel hub is factory non airbag. The right is factory airbag.

The non airbag hub is longer and also has the small pattern to match up to the non airbag wheel.

The airbag hub is shorter and bigger bolt pattern of the airbag wheel.

Ideally you would get an oem non-airbag hub but it isn't sold separately from the steering wheel.

So the SWA-355-02 makes up the difference in hub length and also converts the bolt pattern.

    the rear looks like this

I would like to use the SWS 355B but the ID under the horn button is 64mm, and the momo bolt pattern is 70mm so it does not work. if there was a way I could reverse the bolts on the momo side of the adapter, I could make a donut shaped spacer to fill the void on the rear?
