An 88 Euro Mondial cab has been floating around ebay for the last moth or so. In one of the pics seller shows the paint code stickers on the car of which there are 2. One Blue Sera, the other nero. My 85 mondial does not have two stickers and neither does my 90 348 which is yellow with lower skirts painted black. Seller seems to think one is for the main body color and the second for the lower black skirts? I'm curious if anyone else has seen this on other cars and is normal or if its a reason to do further investigation into a possible repaint at some point in its life. Thanks

One might be the original color and the other the repainted color?

That is what I did on my 1975 308 GT4.

Thats what it makes me think, but seller is adamant that the car has never been repainted.

This doesn't really answer your question but they do show two colors on this modern Ferrari paint sticker. One color for the body and silver for the roof.

One sticker for the paint and another for the black lower body does sound like a reasonable answer.
Perhaps another example will appear after asking this interesting question!
