Just last week, a Ferrari mechanic suggested that I should change my TR fuse panel to a new one because the current is too old. Well, Is it that old and need to be changed...? It's an 86 car with less than 20,000 miles in it. He said many things will work better. But then, I saw the price of the new fuse panel and flipped over three times....

...Is it that old to be changed already...??? Will the change be worth $1,700..???

Hi Pat. Depends what kind of shape your fuse pannel is in. Check out the thread 'testarossa fuse pannel issues' about 20 posts down the page. Very informative and with plenty pictures. I posted pix of my 87 TR pannel and it is in good shape. See them on pg 2. Sortta luck of the draw with these cars. I would not just replace it without having a look at it yourself.

Well worth the money.....did my 87 last year with the fan fuse completey melted .The quote sounds high though, either talk them down a little or try another shop.I think i paid about $850.00 just for the new fuse panel.
