Nice. My first Ferrari. I really wanted a 246, but the dealer sold it out from under me, and I paid $10K MORE for a GT4. This was in 1987, and boy, were they a fast thing back then! I tried to track it down a few years ago, but the trail went cold. I remember that... feeling I got when driving it - couldn't wait to get up in the morning to get behind the wheel.
Stop teasing I actually broached the subject recently with one of my patients who built a D type from scratch... Maybe next year.
Seems they all hold a place in our hearts, I used to love the smell of leather and petrol in the garage (mostly petrol) Good times

Then the slowest of them all This photo is on day 2 of ownership at Kempsey where it would not start as "someone" had adjusted the MOTEC and as this just happened to be the coldest day recorded in Kempsey's history it dumped heaps of fuel in and flooded the engine (with a lot of help from me ) PP rang everyone that day trying to help me get the thing started but it needed the plugs pulled and heated which the RMA guy wouldn't do until the following day when he was a private individual where he proceeded to charge large amounts of money to get it going Image Unavailable, Please Login
