When will it be possible ? I have always loved taking a hot car to Pebble Beach
    every August. Having just sold my 04 - 360 f1 spyder w/ 5k miles I had the
privilage of seeing first hand how fast the market has changed.

The best I have seen is 240 for a 07. no dealer involved.
As Mick said - "time......is on my side.. yes it is !! ".......

by your post - i think i will find
one by aug. no problem. The big
question is can I get one thru a fact. dealer
so that I can finally be a "Ferrari" client !

I saw that too. It obviously shows that the market has taken a dramatic plunge. The question is: How much worse will it get?

and I thought the 20k drop across the board in the 360 market these past fews months was bad.. but the 599's are taking like a 80k dump.. jesus..

really suprising.. and 1 year ago you couldn't get a decent 360 south of 100k if you tried.. now about 30% of the 360's can be had for under 100k

Another thought came into my mind when I saw the prices: "Maybe something's wrong with these cars??"

I haven't seen any other dealers out there that sell any of these cars at the above prices...

That's probably representative of the market right now. Anyone asking $1m+ for an Enzo is dreaming (eg Penske Wynn), or $800k+ for an F50 for that matter.

Also note, there is no website for the dealership. Googling the address listed for "LA Auto Broker" brings up a business called "RPM International". Something smells funny.

I suspect that they listed some cars at rock-bottom prices, before finally going tango-uniform.

Well Considering the Enzo pictured for sale is a Euro spec car and there is no VIN listed, I suspect they may never have had an Enzo for sale. Perhaps MDM lives.

The 2004 black 360 spider is a photo in Jim Lyons' driveway with which I am familiar.

I'd say there may be something very fishy here with these listings?

This is peaking my curiosity. I'm thinking that it is either:

    1. A scam whereby the seller is going to try to get an unsuspecting buyer to wire money in the form of a deposit or full payment on one of the cars. --This doesn't make much sense, though, in light of the fact that the contact info does not work for the seller.

    2. Someone or some group who is in the market for exotic cars trying to artificially bring the prices down by posting ridiculously low prices on the internet. --Seems like a stretch, but crazier things have happened.

    3. Some kid is just screwing around. --I did worse when I was a kid.

    4. It is legit and the phone number is temporarily down. Maybe the seller is a broker for other dealers/brokers and they are using teamwork to sell cars in this tough time. This could help explain the Jim Lyons pic and the euro Enzo. --Not as fun as other explanations.

    5. Anyone else got any thoughts........

It should be more than possible. Im patiently waiting to pull the trigger on a 430 spider. I've come very close, but decided to subdue my emotions and allow my true passion to be contained. This market with further drop, and I know by summer I will be cruising the streets in my Fcar. Be patient and the right 599 will jump out at you.

By the way. Does anyone else on here get irritated when reps from dealers attack you? I find it one of the most annoying things when I walk into a dealership and the first thing I find is I am face to face with sales staff. Actually, I look down on everyone being 6'10 but nonetheless it drives me insane. I try to pick the salesman who stays clear of me, and respects my space.

Maybe they are just trying to lure people to contact them so they can up the price by telling them that the car advertised is not available anymore.........it's a trick that dealers have been doing for years! Or maybe, just maybe, these cars are legit, but they are from other countries and they import into the country (with no warranty and questionable history). Either way, it's still fishy...

I believe there was a thread a few months back regarding a "deal" on 599 using these same pics... problem is, the pictures are of a car that belongs to an Fchat member and the car was not for sale.

    Fishy indeed.

At those prices, there would be no need for this dealer to waste his time advertising... he'd get more money just wholesaling them to almost any dealer in the country.

I went to Google Maps and plugged in their address (9025 Wilshire Blvd Beverly Hills CA), and there is indeed a car dealership there. I can make out what looks to be a red Fcar in the window on the S. Wetherly side. It's a fairly large building with service in the back. I'm sure there are some Fchatters who live or drive by the area. That's the lowest price I've seen for an '08 599 from a dealer.

It's obviously bogus. Someone is bouncing off of them to secure deposit money in a scheme.
