    my slow down warning came on and the check engine lite as well, the engine is running normal and car shifts fine , but the factory exhaust sounds as if it remain's in the full open position any idea's ?

    it seems every ferrari owner has had his slow down light come on ,mine comes on at first start up and goes off in 2 mins,i have had my right side cat ecu replaced a few months ago but i still get a slow down light,get the car scanned and find out what the code is?

    yes i plan to get it scanned just wondering if anyone else had a incident of the same nature and if so what were there results

    Check all your vacuum hoses. One of them became disconnected on my car and was the cause of much grief for the dealer and myself. The one disconnected on my car was the hose connected right under the air intake on the left bank.

    i checked the vac hoses and couldn't see any of them disconnected but thanks for the idea

    the results : apparently the bolts backed off the exhaust by the cat causing a leak in the system resulting the slowdown and engine lite to come on thanks arena motors !!!
    steve is simply the best !

    glad you got her fixed,i still havnt had a chance to take her in,im getting the slowdown light right at take off and stays on for 2 mins and than gone for the rest of the day with no ck eng light on

    maybe you have a stress leak in your exhaust system like during first launch torque take off pulls apart showing leak then not after your under normal run i'm only guessing but the warning slow down lite has to do with exhaust and or the cat converter as well

    Having lights coming and going from your dash is one of the joys of driving a Ferrari :):)
