Hi Everyone - A bit of a newbie here. I am in the process of trying - real hard - to bring a 2000 360 Modena back to life. It was involved in a major accident in a past life it seems and whoever put it back together was quite negligent.

I am making some headway and learning about Ferraris in the process - I have been wrenching on Euro cars for a bit.

One of my main challenges right now is the Transmission / Gearing Fault Lamp keeps illuminating (It's the fault light on the lower right corner off the Speedometer Gauge- US Model). I have a copy of the workshop manual and so far, it's saying check the fault, and then fix it. I cannot "find the fault". I scanned the car and the Transmission module says NO FAULTS.

Anyone ever experienced this? Any idea you can throw my way? Today, while parked, I started her up to warm her up a bit and also help the battery - I could hear a clunk from the back that sounded like the F1 Transmission, I didn't drive or move her though. The light comes and goes last couple of times I drove it.

I appreciate any and all feedback in advance.

    Cheers!

I only have a TopDon 800 at the moment. It does have issues directly connecting to modules

Without a diagnosis tool that can connect and carry out functional tests and procedures it is going to be almost impossible to fix your trans issues

I would recommend upgrading the TCU to that if a CS ..search on this forum

Once updated you can use low cost diag. Equipment to work on car ..i am but familiar with what you are using but it looks like a copy of a launch x431

This. If you have a light and the tool is telling you "no fault", it's not reading the fault.
