    Guys,

I just replaced the modena's clutch with the HR upgraded kevlar one.. it also has a new throwout bearing and other odd ends in there..

The car seems to shift ok until 30 or so minutes of use when the clutch is getting hot.. then the car will start to slip the clutch fairly badly in 1st and 2nd etc.

I leave the car to sit for 30min or an hour.. and it's ok again..

anyone have any input on this? is this possibly a normal break in issue with a kevlar clutch? It works ok for awhile but after an amount of time it will slip when new?

Kevlar linings can take a bit of time to bed in. You shouldn't get major slip like that though. Was the flywheel replaced?

No, it was in good shape but it was rebuilt as was the entire clutch mechanism by HR clutch

again I drove the car 40 minutes home, I drove it a few hours later on red lights streets for 30 minutes, it didn't slip like that again.. I am babying the car and it seems to only occur when the clutch is working hard or as 1 hour builds up and it gets hot..

The guys at HR clutch say give it another 400 miles of easy driving and after the break in it may react better
