2000 360 Race interior

There is a small opening in my passenger seat just below the regular big openings. Its centered in the seat and then there is a black painted bracket back on the fire wall. I just noticed after looking at pictures of other 360s with the race interior and they do not have this. It is an American car. If I was to randomly guess it almost looks like a restraint for a child seat but I highly doubt that is it because of the air bag. Does anyone know what this is? I could snap a picture if you guys want.
