I have had a couple drops beside the rear passenger tire after drives. Area was wet around the F1 pump hoses. Cleaned everything and drove a couple times and narrowed it down to the hose connection indicated in the pic. Every time I try to tighten it the entire hose assembly turns not just the bolt. Any idea on how I can remedy this? Thanks

Those are banjo fittings. On each side of the fitting is a brass or copper crush washer.
Relieve the pressure on the system, then replace both washers. You will probably need a Launch SD tool or something similar to bleed the air out of the system after you have put it back together.

Thank you, I'll probably let a shop do that. I'll see how much it leaks and maybe wait until the annual if its just weeping.

Any chance I made it worse by turning the bolt a quarter to third and then turning it back to it's original position?

Possible..you crushed the copper more and then opened a tiny gap up

Could be the bleeder screws on the actuator leaking also. The fluid will drip down from there and sort of collect on the fittings making it look like the leak is from the fitting.

The best option as mentioned above is to install new copper crush washers. The old washers can be reused if you coat them with a gasket sealant. My preference is a product called Hylomar Universal Blue. Tightening the old washers probably won't be completely effective. The copper has been compressed to a point where they can't be crushed any further.

You can reuse copper washers by annealing them.

Thanks, I checked those as well. Everything is dry above the banjo bolts. I'm going to have the washers replaced next week and the actuator checked/reset on the computer. I guess it maximizes smooth shifts etc. ...

It’s a very simple fix. Probably 15 minutes to relieve the pressure in the F1 system and change the crush washers. Maybe another 30-45 mins.to bleed the system.
The crush washers should be just pennies, but they’ll probably charge you $5 each for them.

Remember...to bleed actuator..it has to come off..that can be time consuming..cats etc
