Ive got records from myself and the previous owner but unfortunately nothing before that. Fortunately, the major maintenance items were either done under my ownership or the previous owners so I have records for the clutch, f1 pump, shift sensors, flywheel, heat exchanger, 30k mile service etc. Ive attached some copies of the receipts as well as the car fax.
One thing that should be noted, the 30k mile service was performed by the previous owner, a dealer here in Grand Rapids that has a Ferrari tech. This is why it is showing receipts for the 30k mile service parts rather than a formal service record for it.
Alright guys, looking for some input. Ive recently had an investment opportunity come up and I need to liquidate some funds asap. So unfortunately the Ferrari has to go....and go fast. My question for you all, if I wanted to price this car to move asap, what should I be asking? Is there a number that people would jump on to get it gone? Please no ridiculous jokes either like "ill give you 30k tomorrow!" I'm looking for some serious advice to help move the car to a great new home asap, but prevent myself from taking too large of a loss on this car. Im thinking 57 and somebody would jump on this amazing machine?! Thoughts?
Just based on my research, comparable 360's for sale across the country and considering that at the 59 I was currently asking, I'm still the cheapest one in the country. Ive found another for 59 with 40k miles and a flood title so I'm thinking 57 should move this thing
You approach makes sense. And it's tough on these rare exotics for sure. I have a former co-worker that may have an interest -- already texted him so will have him look at your ad. His name is Victor in case you get a call from him tonight / tomorrow. All the best on your sale! Adam Gasper
The F1 transmission 355, 360 and 430 Ferrari market has been extremely soft lately. It’s for sure buyers’ market now.
Great price I just bought a tdf spider 01 with 39 k for $70,000 k. With fabspeed headers tubi exhaust custom stereo and custom 22 and 20 in wheels. Also got own wheels Image Unavailable, Please Login
Condition, Condition, Condition! Complete maintenance service history! All affect pricing. Advertise everywhere. Limited market to begin with. I'd say an ASAP price would be $54 - $57. Sit and wait price $58 - $61. Beautiful blue, looks like NART blue. Keep the Ferrari and sell the Challenger. Good luck with everything.
Hi Ryan, I'm not sure if my former co-worker Victor reached out to you or not. He had a couple of business trips since I last chatted with him on 7/15 so he may just be out of pocket. In the meantime, what composvoti just mentioned about BaT makes a lot of sense at this point. You're highly motivated to sell unlike 99% of the exotic car private sellers. Also, you seem to be extremely organized and meticulous so you'll do quite nicely on BaT which is a unique community of buyers and sellers. I have absolutely no affiliation with BaT but have done some research on them and in the past 12 months they've had thirteen (13) 360's up at auction. The guys at BaT seem to like these 360's for their site. I think you'll sell there. Cost is $99 to you whether you sell or not. Buyer's pay a 5% fee to the house with min. $250 and capped at $5,000 according to the site. FYI... 360's on BaT from 08/01/2017 to 08/05/2018: 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena 6-Speed Sold on 8/1/18 for $91,000 9500-Mile 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena 6-Speed Sold on 7/24/18 for $116,000 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena F1 Sold on 7/20/18 for $52,500 2600-Mile 2004 Ferrari 360 Spider F1 Reserve not met on 7/16/18 at $85,000 10k-Mile 2003 Ferrari 360 Modena Reserve not met on 7/13/18 at $69,500 21k-Mile 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider Sold on 7/9/18 for $63,750 12k-Mile 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena 6-Speed Reserve not met on 6/25/18 at $88,000 14K-Mile 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider 6-Speed Sold on 6/5/18 for $100,000 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena Reserve not met on 4/25/18 at $52,000 12K-Mile 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena 6-Speed Sold on 3/21/18 for $130,000 15K-Mile 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider 6-Speed Reserve not met on 2/15/18 at $76,000 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena 6-Speed Reserve not met on 1/19/18 at $74,000 2003 Ferrari 360 Spider F1 Reserve not met on 10/4/17 at $47,250 Cheers! I think you are doing a good job of getting the car advertised. I was sent a few links to this car from my friends and neither of them were from F chat. From what I have seen with the 360's as I have been looking for a 430/458 is that the miles, color and if its a 6 speed really affect how fast these sell. I think the car would be a great driver, it is just finding that right person with disposable cash. I think the collectors are looking for the low mileage 6 speed in red/tan. This is totally my opinion based on what I see so please don't flame me to bad. If you really need to dump the car for some working capital pm me your rock bottom price. Good luck with the sale.
I think you have a great price and as difficult as it seems to be patient I would just sit and wait. Your car is worth your asking price and in my opinion a little more. Someone will get it when the time is right. Especially with the service done and heat exchanger. My car is an F1 as well and although a 6spd would be a little more fun, I still feel the F1 is neat in its own way. It feels great blasting through the gears feeling like an F1 driver back in the 90’s Lol! That’s about where I’d put the technology of the F1 system. (Honestly about 1988 as far as F1 goes) I had an M3 with a triple clutch that was a lot faster shifting but I’d still rather have a Ferrari. your car worth every bit of what your asking. I wish I got mine for $59,000!! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thanks for the input! I totally agree. I've only driven 5/6 speeds my entire life, was pretty reserved about getting the F1 but couldn't justify spending an extra 20k for the exact same car just manual transmission so I decided F1. Honestly ive fallen in love as well. There is something satisfying about it in an odd way that you wont understand until you drive one. Obviously still not as satisfying as a 6 speed, but I truly think the F1 is more hated/underrated than it should be. I've really enjoyed it. Plus for 57k why would anyone be picky?! Cant believe nobody has jumped on this yet....
Just be patient. I’d offer it for more on other sites. I see some junk out there for more. I saw one yesterday with 8 year old belts and a “clunky” reverse in the description for $60,000. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
