The convertible top opens and closes perfectly, when the top is closed (sealed shut) there is no signal displayed or warning beeps, when the top is open, (down) the top control signal warning light shows on the dash making it appear as if the top is still open and a beeping sound occurs when going over 20mph. Everything is shut and secure and the full sequence is complete with the windows coming back up to complete the cycle to show everything has been completed correctly but the light is stil lit on the dash and the beeping still occurs after 20MPH. Does anyone know if there is a sensor that that would cause this or a way to by-pass the signal from going off? There are no leaks in the convertible hydraulic fluid and the cylinder is still full. Any help or advice would be much appreciated before sending it in to the dealership, especially if it is something simple I am missing. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the power switch in the trunk? I had a similar issue with my 360 spider. Shut the power off with the top down for about and hour. Then followed the power up sequence for an F1 car. Issue gone.

Would this post not be better served in the 360/430 section?
