I replaced the steering wheel in my 360. I now have the SRS airbag light on and am trying to avoid taking it to Ferrari to have it reset. I have disconected the battery and touched the - and + together to reset the system but it is still on.

any body have any ideas to reset the light??

Thanks in advance for the help

If you had the battery cut of switch turned of at the time the airbag was disconnected and the light was not on before you changed the wheel then the light should not have come on.
It could be that you have not reconnected the airbag properly, check the connection on the airbag again with battery switch of.

People routinely change wheels or instrument clusters without turning off the battery and set a failure light.

When an airbag light is set turning the battery on and off will not fix it.

An SD2 can and it will also tell if there is anything currently wrong.

The light was not on when the wheel came off, so i take it if the airbag is connected correctly its going to need he SD2 to turn it off

IF the light was not on before and you turned your battery switch of before changing the wheel then its not connected properly, just disconnecting and reconnecting the airbag will not bring the light on provided it is reconnected properly. There is other scanners besided the SD2 that will turn the light of like SD3 SD5 Leonardo but usually only Ferrari specialist have them.
Have you checked the connection in the back of the airbag ??

SD2 or Leonardo has worked for me. Used a ST 5 and it didn't work . Hopefully you have not damaged something else . Hope you got your wheel at a good price. Forza!
