2001 550 Maranello 8,888 Miles

I have decided to sell my beautiful 550 Maranello VI # 125765 and want to offer it to fellow F-chatters before I do a mass advertisement to the general public. Very late build (Sept. 2001) one of the last produced ’01’s with only 8,888 miles. Finished in Grigio Titanio over two tone Gray & Black Daytona seats. (very rare) Options include modular wheels, quilted package shelf, quilted headliner, Red calipers. Car comes with all the books, complete service history all the keys, window sticker etc. I will be glad to review the service history with an interested party. This car is absolutely perfect in every way, no digs, dents, scratches or paint work of any kind. No “stickys” or shrinkage. I’ve had the entire front end of the car installed with Xpell plastic film for added protection. It has had two belt services performed and I have receipts for over $23,000 for maintenance, cold compression test were performed about 1,000 miles ago and passed with flying colors. This is truly a one of a kind, special car that is out of my personal collection and resides at my home, a real time capsule that still has that new car smell. This car is for someone that wants perhaps the best 550 in the world and is willing to pay for it; I’m looking for a number around $200K however I am open to a realistic offer. I realize that I am asking the top of the market, however If there was ever a car that should command the price, this is it, why spend $175,000 for a mediocre car when you can own this one of a kind, the module wheels alone are worth $15K to $20K if you could find a set. I couldn't agree more with Wolfturbo, he is spot on. No the car is not sold yet, I'm getting silly offers or folks that don't have the funds. I wanted to offer it on Ferrarichat prior to mass advertising it to the general public. I greatly appreciate all the kind words and praise for this magnificent car. I have several people that have requested additional information and perhaps one of them will be the new proud owner.

 

To all who have asked, no the car is not sold yet, I sure would like to see the car go to someone on Fchat before I go to the general public. Make a reasonable, real offer and it may be yours.

 

As much as I didn't want to have to mass market this incredible car, it has become obvious that I do if anyone one has real interest in purchasing my 550, please contact me. It is now listed on all the automotive websites as well as eBay. No $175,000 won't buy it but I am open to realistic offers. Thanks

 

I am lowering the price to $195,000'or best realistic offer. Have had numerous offers from dealers, however they want to buy it at a figure I'm not willing to accept. If you've been contemplating a 550, then you don't want to miss this one, I don't think there is a better example on the market anywhere in the world.

 

I'm reducing the price on my 550, if you want a truly special car, this is the one and I will let it go for $185,000, I think it's a steal at this price.

 

Agreed, when one makes up their mind to sell, it's time to go!
