OK, you guys are going to think I am nuts.......but we all KNOW that I am. I have #19 of 20 Brown 6.0 SE. When I bought it there was #12 of 20 Gold 6.0 SE with it. It was sold a week prior to me getting mine. I always wanted the mate...and well after 6 years I am getting it. I bought #12 from the first owner in Texas last week. 5800 miles. Should have it home next to its brother early next week. I have added a pic here, IT IS not of the car. #12 has a wing. What I need help with is a good photo shop person. I think I want to paint the stock OEM wheels BLACK....what do you think...what would it look like?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
No need to photoshop it.. someone on here already did it. I forgot his username, but he has a gold 6.0SE with black wheels and a wing. Looks terrible to me, but whatever I'll try to find the thread with pics. -R edit: found the thread, but the pics aren't there anymore. ah well http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22687
could be the worst chop I've ever done, but the pic is wicked small for photoshopping... anyway, it'll give you a (real) rough idea... Image Unavailable, Please Login
i'm a webdesigner so i took a stab at this. not sure if it's exactly how you wanted, i just tried my best. hope you like it, hope it helps. (added some color to the car too.) Best regards, Trevor Image Unavailable, Please Login
i would suggest a gunmetalish color on the wheel to match up with the carbon fiber. The gunmetal color is not as black but gives a nice continuity to the carbon fiber while providing a distinctive contrast with the gold...
Roy, These pics were taken last yr by blackwood (Marc) at SupercarSunday in Calabasas/Woodland Hills. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Do it Roy, you can't go wrong with black rims. And if you are already considering it then let me ask, Why not?
Yes, I saw this sent to me by another.... Call me nuts,, BUT I think the GOLD is lookin....GOOD!!!! Comments please???
Thats Bill Bass's old car, saw it at LoH a few weeks ago....I was on the phone with him for about an hour last Friday and he never mentioned he sold it. I forgot to ask because I was going to send him to you anyway if he was serious about moving it...Congratulations again Roy
I couldn't agree more. The second choice is to leave it be. The black wheels look like s-h-i-t. Sorry but you wanted an opinion. Another cool ride however. The only car I've ever liked in that color!
Stick with the silver wheels, there more visible and the lines are gorgeous. If black, you lose all that and you may as well put some plastic wheel trims on it as no-one would see them anyway!!!
Ok, You're nuts! When I think of Gold wheels on a Lambo I think of the Countach. So here's my interpretation...at work so I didn't have a lot of fine tuning time. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Roy, NO on the gold. I like the black. I would go with that. Put the gold SE with black wheels next to the black CT with gold wheels!
I like the gold best. Forgive my lack of knowledge in the next comment, but are the sills and front splitter bare carbon or painted - I think that the wheels would look fab colour matched to that if possible
Here are some more pics... Don't be a copycat. Congrats on finding the twin. Wish I could have the brown se.
