A bunch of cheap skates on p car mkt…. Those auction sites have the cheesiest comments……, It’s a $17k car…. What is there to complain about. If I had room I’d love to grab it.. fly in and road trip fun. Glws.
Auctions can be a bit of luck and timing unless have two bidders with serious interest in reaching market price. These are great cars, and so underappreciated, unless really know what a great buy they can be. My suggestion is to post on PCA Classifies and/or Rennlist. Good luck.
These are great but service bills may scare off some...we have a 2006 S and gotten quotes for $4-5K maintenance (timing belt, water pump, incidentals...oil level sensor inoperable requiring half the engine to come out , etc, etc.
they don't have timing belts, atleast the 2001s don't. I replaced the water punp and thermostate it was under $700 IIRC.
