    Put in Top Speed exhaust back in 2017, check engine light would occasionally come on, P0442 on ODBII. Told it may a CAT issue, so bought the Top Speed resonated Cats... sounds Grrreat... 3 dsys later, lights back on. Dealer said its fuel cap issue, quick fix...3 days later, lights back on. Any recommendations that have a chance of success w/o trying everything else?? I’m in Germany now and this is where this car feels right at home... meanwhile, 7 speeding tickets so far, and only 5 months in country!

    P0442 is a small evaporative system leak. Usually it is a fuel cap issue. But if a new fuel cap did not solve your problem, you probably should do a smoke test to find out where the leak is. It could be the roll-over valve which is quite involved.

    7 speeding tickets? Don't they suspense your license in Germany?
