2002 360 spyder. About every other time I drive the car I am forced to park the car on a slight incline or in a weird spot. I'll park the car usually doing a crawling 3 point turn forward or reverse, shut it off and smell clutch! Does anyone else exprience this?

    It is a F1. I don't feel any slippage.

Can you try and avoid parking your 360 on a reverse incline or 'weird spot'? :):)

The F1 system slips when doing reverse incline parking. The F1 system is slipping the clutch a lot, thats why you can smell the clutch.:eek:

If the clutch begins to slip, when would you feel it. Starting off from a stop or climbing hills in 3rd or 4th?

Never back up an F1 transmission up an incline. You will destroy your clutch in a very short amount of time. The F1 system slips the clutch when in reverse. The best way to back up on the flat is to gas it and then let it coast, not apply constant throttle for a long amount of time.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll give it a try.
