Prefer the tan interior, but I LOVE those wheels. They are my fav Ferarri wheels. I too am looking towards a 360 Spider F1 for my not so distant future. LOVE THEM!

    Good luck!

    Are those wheels chromed?
Most people seem to slam those starfish. They look good in person on the car.
Nice car, good price. I say try to hammer them down to 89 (settle on 90) and then pull the trigger!

I think the time to deal is now since

    1) year end
    2) some folks might not want to store them away for the winter
    3) A few more weeks it might face the "one more year old" stigma

Found exactly the model specs that I wanted + major service done + clean pedigree = so I went for it.

At this writing, the car is still technically for sale on Ebay. Since you already bought it, if I were you, I'd insist they take it off the market.

    Agreed.

I called and told the guy. He told me will do it "right away" :)

Tung, Congrats! Maybe I missed them in the listing but make sure you get all the keys and fobs (especially the fobs). I think I see the red one (fob), hopefully the seller has at least one black one as well.

    Enjoy!

Congratulations. You will get plenty of use out of that drop top in San Diego!
It has been crummy for top down in NC, either cold or rainy.
    Enjoy it!
    It is a beautiful specimen!

This deal is canceled since the seller would not let me bring it to the Scottsdale AZ F dealership for the PPI. He wants me to bring to his indy.

    Back to the search.

Yes, I would say that is a deal killer.... especially when the Ferrari dealership is in the same city? lol?

Contact Andy Falbo at FMS near Scottsdale. FoS did the PPI on my car, but I had Andy Falbo do all the work on it including belts and fluids, and he is GREAT. Your seller should not only know of him, but be happy to allow him to do the PPI.

PPI is a neessity. What has been done is 50% of the equation, what needs to be done and when is the other 50%.

Will do the PPI on Monday and the owner will pay for the major. Should have the car in two weeks. Can not wait.

Andy is out of town this weekend bringing the team Ferrari racing truck to Indy. He expects to be back to FMS on Monday, so you will need to make sure he is back for when you want to do it. He's a great guy and will give an honest report.

Just wondering? What happened with the car? Did you buy it? I see it is still on ebay.

The seller was very nice but he would not ok for me to bring the car to the local dealership for the PPI so we agreed to cancel the deal.

Found a diff one (2K miles F 360 Red) and in the process of closing that deal.

Thanks, I was just looking at the car on ebay. The options were perfect. I guess I won't bother to call if he won't allow for a private inspection. Can I ask the year and price for the one you found.
    Thanks.

I don't understand - is there something he is hiding or is he just pissed that you don't want to take his word for the condition of the car? Ridiculous either way.

Maybe the dealership and him had a bad prior dealing or he thinks the dealership can not give an unbiased PPI? I can understand why - but nevertheless. I think he will allow a private PPI - Just not the local dealership. He was very nice to deal with but for the PPI issue.

By faith/Luck, I "found" a 2K miles 2003 F 360 Red spider with Tan int. + Challenger grills + Modular wheels + 1 owner + no story + not listed anywhere (looks brand new) + all books still in plastics + all keys/fobs = $100K. Exactly how I would have ordered this car. Just waiting for the good PPI result to close the deal (crossing my fingers) today.
