Ok, so i was speaking with a friend of mine, who informed me, that his friend has a 2002 Spider which he would like to sell. Car has less than 800 miles. Btw, owner is selling this car, after having test driven a Gallardo and immediately putting his name and deposit down, not wanting anything to do with the 360. But thats another story. In realistic terms, what do you guys think this is car is worth, without knowing the color combo or tranny. Just a close Estimate.

I think there are still people out there that would pay 190 for this car. Why I don't know but they will.

I recently offered 205k for an 03 spider (6 spd)with 3500 miles. My offer was refused. (in retrospect it was a stupid offer, but the seller was the real idiot) Worked out better for me in the end.

Funny that with 129 references, no one really wants to chime in here. So ill let her rip.

2002 360 Spider, less than 800 miles, bought, signed sealed and delivered for 149,000, tax,tag and title included. The beginnings of the Gallardo trade ins....

So whose been paying over 200K recently? lol

I just bought a Spider and was in the market for a few weeks. The asking price range is still [190-240]. I eventually had a great opportunity on a brand new 04

If you can find one for 150 let me know. I'll buy it asap to flip it.

Assuming it is a US car with an F1 box, your friend's car should go around $200K from an individual and probably more like $208K from a dealer.

Napolis, sorry to break the news but the first Spider in the us was an 01 model. Maybe your friend bought a modena?

I already posted the results. 2002 U.S. Spider, 6 speed, less than 800 miles, purchased for 149,000 out the door, by a member of this forum.

Cool great deal. Too bad it is unique!

    Was it in an accident?

Hey the market is falling heavily on the 360 rignt now, likely due to the knowledge that the car is long in the tooth for a replacement. Also you should of course know that "asking" prices mean nothing.

I'm sure this month's FML has a few motivated spider sellers that would take a legitimate $150k - $165k offer no problem.

Actually, before I buy a car I always walk away from a few deals to get a feel from the breaking points.

One of the car was an 02 Spider 6 speed titanium/black with 4000 miles. The dealer asked 215. They let me leave with a 205K cash offer...

I'm sure the prices are going down but 150 is really exceptional.

Sadly, the truth is there are plenty of people still asking rediculous prices for these cars. They are about to get a very high dose of reality.

The car is perfect in as new condition.

My only question is, that if a Spider is this cheap, imagine what coupes are worth.

Individuals with delusion, I understand, but dealers should know better. I suspect they let me go because they were pretty sure that someone else would pay more.

I think your friend could sell his/her car for 200K. Amazing deal

I dont think so, since my friend purchased the car for more than several dealers offered on trade in.

As i posted before, i also know someone who walked into a Ferrari dealer, and paid sticker for a new 360 Spider. No wait, nothing.

Right now there are spiders on ebay with the following _bids_ (not buy-it-now prices, but actual bids):

    '04 - $211,100 (reserve not met)
    '04 - $199,000 (reserve not met)
    '02 (4k miles) - $180,100 (reserve not met)
    '01 (2.6k miles) - $175,100 (reserve not met)

Those are a lot more than $149k, which means that the market is still bearing those kind of prices. It may be on the way down, but $149k right now is a steal.

Sorry Allan, but this is really hard to believe. Most dealers still have a really long waiting list. My dealer for example accepted a deposit for a Stradale but not a Spider. Which dealer was it? Was it a very weird color combo?

My uncle bought it. It is red/black 6 speed. He also got a coupe a year or so before that, when others doubted it also.

Was he on the waiting list already and got it well before he was expecting to get it? Or did he just walk in for the first time and buy a brand new Spider that was for sale on the floor? If it was the latter, I find that very hard to believe. I've heard of no US dealerships that have less than a 3 year waiting list, many of which aren't even taking names anymore.

He walked right in, and bought it, no list. People here have a hard time believing alot of things. But now, theres a Spider purchase by an Fchat member, for what people believe to be impossible.

The values are certainly falling that's for sure.

ACW, Napolis is correct. There were 8 U.S. spec 2000 model 360 spiders.
