Tom's deals! Get it out of my shop! 2002 360 spider, red tan, Daytona seats, but no other options. Manual seats etc. Car has 86,000km on the clock. Was in a small flood..up to the starter motor. Carpets were damp. Replaced starter, battery, and remote battery, car started right up. Convertible top works..needs elastics replaced. Needs full service, ball joints, engine mounts, gearbox bushing, complete fluid change. Clutch reads 45%worn (whatever that actually means) car needs tires and alignment. Yes..it runs and drives..no engine or gearbox lights. About 7 years ago we sent the actuator and power unit down to GTE to get rebuilt..so all the stuff is good. All told..it needs all deferred maintenance so about 20 CND to fix up..plus a really good detail and paint correction/polish. More pictures on request Asking 52k USD as is where is..come pick it up.. The owners decided to pull the car off the market until spring. So it will be available again shortly. For what price now..who knows. I'm not a car salesmen. Just a tech who is helping them move it along. I'll shoot them a message on Monday to see where they are at and let you know.
Ace! Standing by here. Just reread through the thread. Sounds like it needs a lot of work. Flood damage adds a further risk. Importing a 2002 car, even from Canada may involve additional retrofitting by a Registered Importer and that can cost. Price will have to come down even in the summer. Thanks! I might be talking to you about doing some of the work in your shop. So, keep me posted please. Where is your shop?
Dunno..I haven't heard anything back yet. I'll post an updat as soon as I hear anything. On another note..it was snowing here yesterday.. rain today and tomorrow, so it's probably the furthest thing from their mind right now.
I do believe you are right. Besides, Why sell a convertible in the winter? Your going to want to sell it with the top down. BTW,, love the car and the fact that it was driven.
