2002 Ford F350 XLT Superduty 4WD Crew Cab Diesel Long Bed 196K

I have owned this truck since Around January of 2010 with about 90K on the clock. It was my Daily Driver and made some trips to the lumber yard on the weekend’s for project house. I am selling due to getting a company Truck and I have no more room as I hate to see it go.

    Asking $17,000

The Good- This truck is very well maintained. I worked at the Ford Dealer in the Truck Shop when the 7.3’s were new and am very familiar with this model Superduty. Most all maintenance was performed by me. I do not have the exact mileage of all the maintenance, but ball park’s are as follows at 125K Alternator, Degas bottle replaced, 140K Water Pump Replaced, Fan Clutch (OEM), Left Front Wheel Bearing, 150K all injectors were O-Ringed (OEM), valve cover gaskets replaced (OEM), Under Valve Cover Harness replaced (OEM)Glow Plugs replaced (OEM), HPOP Re-O-ringed (OEM), 160K Exhaust “Y” on back of turbo replaced along with gaskets (OEM), 180K ICP and IPR Replaced, All three rear U Joints, Swing Bearing, rear pinion seal, Transmission Fluid (all fluid not just drain and fill), 185K Two new BFG All Terrain Tires, Upper and lower ball joints both sides, All steering linkage, Red Head Steering Box, Vacuum Seals for the 4WD, all hub O Rings, and Front Axle Seals, Front Leaf Spring Bushings, Alignment, Front Brake Pads, Front axle fluid (Synthetic), rear axle fluid (Royal Purple), New Headlamp Bulbs, Two New Interstate Batteries, new drive belt, tensioner and idler pulleys, coolant flush, upper and lower radiator hoses, brake fluid flush, 195K Front Rotors, RT Front Wheel Bearing, Transfer case fluid, Rear Rotors, Rear Brake Pads, New Front Shocks, Fresh Oil Change, Air Filter, Fuel Filter. I don’t have the exact mileage, but all door lock actuators have been replaced at some time as needed with a mix of OEM and Aftermarket, It has a Compustar Remote start and Keyless entry system (2 remotes) that works about 1,000 feet away. I have a remote fuse box installed to plug your “Accessories” into. Satellite radio Ready just needs a subscription as I am canceling this radio on my account. The AC blows cold and the heater works. It Comes with a Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller. Keep in mind I am showing the latest fluid services as they were changed regular while I owned the truck. Nice Interior, No Collisions, Not “Dusted” I.E. No Puff Puff out of the oil filler cap as Air Filters were maintained and not an aftermarket K&N. Comes with the tool box in the pictures, and running boards. Title in Hand.

The Mediocre- The fuel gauge does not work all the time so I reset the odometer and go by mileage. The tank is 38 gallons and you can safely average 13MPG. If on the highway you may see 14.5MPG. The aftermarket radio has a mind of its own some times and resets itself. All speakers are stock. It has a small oil leak somewhere which I believe to be behind the transmission. The rear main seals very seldom leak on the 7.3 but there may be some oil galley plugs behind the flywheel that are the culprit. It is not a bad leak but none the less a leak. I installed a FORD Aftermarket Auto Headlamp system and the sensor does not cut the lights off in the day time, but they come on with the key and go off with the key so they are Auto, but on all the time the truck is running unless you turn them off manually. It had a Banks system on it before I got the truck, and the Down pipe and the trans commander module seem to be all that is left. Paint is in good shape and has a few minor dings and scratches. The Right front tire blew out at some time and took its toll on the paint on the fender, see the pics. Two New Tires will be required in the next 10K miles or so. The sliding back glass can be hard to close at times. Aftermarket window tint on the front windows could be redone. There is a small dent behind the drivers rear door.

The Maybe Not so good- This truck was a thieft recovery and does have a Salvage title. I got the truck from a small dealer in San Diego who deals with these types of truck. I was told the bed was stolen, along with the seats and rear bumper. The seats were replaced with a set of FORD Leather seats. The drivers and passenger seats are power but not heated. The drivers seat at times does not want to move forward but all other functions work. It will move forward but you have to press the switch a lot. The bed was replaced with a New 2010 Ford bed that came from a place that puts truck bodies on and has a stock of factory beds so The paint is Factory on the Bed. The tailgate works but is not the best looking and it is probably off a 2002, again white and factory paint. The rear bumper is off a 2003 hence the back up alarm sensors. The sensors are not hooked up. It does not have a overhead console or a leather steering wheel.

This is a very well maintained good looking truck that would not need anything but a driver.
