Instead of buying another diablo now, my wife said if I wait two years she will have more funding for me to buy a murcie. What prices can I expect two years from now? I would have to stay with the yrs. 03 to 04 to make it work. It would be very, very hard to wait, but if that is my only chance of owning one, I want to think I can. Need help and opinions, PLEASE! I currently have Diablo 6.0, Ford GT, and just sold my Ferrari 360 to fund another car. Thanks. Doug 316-788-5967.

I would say wait if your self-control will let you. It will make the experience that much more enjoyable and exciting. It sounds like you have a history of owning nice cars so I would recommend you continue with what you do have right now. I am considering a Ford GT to add next so just remember you have some cars that others can only dream about...

Now go for a drive and have a Coke and a Smile ;)

I'd say enjoy your moment. If you can get the Diablo, then go for it. God knows what will happen in two years. Will they drop in price? of course. Did you just lose two years of ownership of a fun car, or yet again envied another thread of someone else's ride? Yes, what kind of price would you put on that? .....

Also be careful man. Women are tricky, comes two years and she'll tell you wait another 5 years and Ill let you get a Ferrari Zonda. You'll end up never getting your car.

I personally waited 2 years for the new LP to come out and was optimistic that the prices would drop for an older 02-03 Murci, it wasnt the case. Prices havent decreased some say they have increased. With the new LP price in the mid $350 k area, I wouldnt bet on a huge price drop for a Murci.

Keep your eye out for a clean low mileage Murci and dont hesitate to purchase, IMO saving 20k for possible devaluation in the future isnt worth the agony.

I made the plunge about a month ago and only had one regret, that I didnt purchase sooner.

FYI, a little correction, the 2008 LP640, with the new price increase will run about $373K for an e-gear NOT fully equiped...approach 400K for fully equiped car...up about 9% from the 2007 year cars...with the only difference being 1 year extra warranty...it makes the 07 LP cars look very worth their money and 02-04 Murcie cars a STEAL at anything under 220K...I only see the older Murcies holding and creeping up a little...after all a 9% increase right off the bat builds price protection into an older car....IMO

This 2003 Murcie is a steal at $199K........details and others listed on my site....

I can't believe no one has picked up the black/tan '03 car you have Roy, great color combo, excellent price, and great dealer backing it up.....Someone needs to steal this beauty quick!:)

Arent Diablo prices rising ? So wouldnt it be smart to pick one now and enjoy it and then sell when bored to get a Murcie ( if that is possible...).

Even with rising prices of the new cars coming from the factory, an 03-04 Murcielago will not be a good "investment" from a financial standpoint. You will spend less on one two years from now than you will today. They make a lot of these cars ;)

Depends on who you ask and what your opinion is....Some dealers are upside down in Diablos because they thought the prices were on the rise and now they still have the same cars over a year later....
