Anyone know anything about the 360 up there right now for $129K? I've been trying to find a solid red 355GTB but the 360 may be calling my name. Steve
Other folks on this forum will tell me I'm wrong and that things have changed, and the new people there are good guys... but I've never heard of anyone having a smooth transaction with Champion. I've looked at several cars there over the years, all were heavily repaired upon further inspection after being reassured that they were perfect, never been painted/hit/repaired. I've had several friends purchase cars from them, only to be disappointed when they went to sell them and were told they were rebuilt (paint thickness gauges rarely lie). I'd keep looking...
Not too sure about the new Champion (new owners?), but 2 friends of mine that purchased cars from them when they were in their old location warned me to stay away from that place. However, my buddy just traded them his S550 towards a new Bentley Flying Spur and was pleased with the transaction (not much that can be screwed up with a new car purchase I guess). I've been to the new dealership a few times, and I will say it's definitely one of the nicest looking dealerships I've seen - aside from a nice selection of cars in the main showroom, you gotta see some of the more classic/rare cars in the 'back showroom'...Only dealership I've been in that has a full size home theater room...
This is really Bentley of LI. They probably get some good cars and some bad cars, just like any dealer F-Car or not. It's a used car do all your due diligence before making a purchase. There are boat loads of 360s for sale and I'm convinced the prices will just come down more and more, especially as the economy starts to tighten or maybe the us versions will go to Europe as the euro is up 20% on the dollar. Gotta love that shrinking trade deficit, thanks Georgie boy. They will be buying buildings and sending them overseas.
Well well well..... All I have to say is that they are 10000000000000000000000000% on target. I am sure there is a bad story that is attached to any dealer but I have purchased multiple cars and camn honestly say that they are a great group to work with.... As far as history, well there have been some rumors of repaired cars etc but that is an old rumor from years ago.... I have purchased many cars including a 1994 ferrari 348, and more recently a 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo and and have been thrilled to death with every aspect of the transaction including sales, service, billing etc and even the trade prices they have given me..... If you are interested in one of the cars at their place let me know I have developed a relationship and they are currently my Platinum Sponor for the Exotics Rally events and can get you a sizeable discount. I just sold a Flying Spur and a 2007 Porsche 997. Hats off to Champion - their inventory is second to none..... I am actually going there today to possible get a 2008 Lamborghini....
