    Hi all

I'm looking right now at a local 360 modena with stick with 6000 miles.
Car is on consignment at a local ferrari dealership.

From looking at the history today, car was bought early april by the 2nd owner who put around 1500 miles on the car after installing a tubi exhaust. However from the ppi that was done at that time at ferrari, belts had to be done since from what i can see in the records, they were never done before. car was barely driven between 2008 and 2012, 1000 miles total during that period.

car looks & drives great but i would like to get your opinions on this one

    asking price is 96k (canadian)

    thanks
    alex

I think it is no big deal. Just don't drive it until belts are done before you pick it up if you buy it. If they never broke no big deal I guess. However, it makes me a tad bit worried about what other maintenance was not done? Are the tires original too?

Not sure about the tires. Will buy 4 new if required, no big deal.
I know that brake fluid was described as cloudy in last ppi in april before oil change.
They also did inspect the clutch and replaced a couple things while being there, all done at Ferrari dealership but a major was never done from looking at the records.

Get the previous owner info, call them and ask.

yeap, the dealer will call the original owner but from looking at the records, the car was a true garage queen for at least 5 years of its existence. I ask him to provide with an approximate cost for a major, alternator, water pump, ac compressor, power steering belts and so on.. i mean i don't want to worry about my first ferrari, just want to enjoy it.

i was not at all convinced by the F1 on the 360 but that stick on the 360, wow, very nice...

    cheers

Have a body shop check every inch of thr car. Often long periods of "no miles" really means that the car sat in a body shop for years because they couldn't find used parts to repair it affordably. Not saying that to scare you, just the facts.

Body shop with paint meter, PPI at another shop.

I bought a car sorta of similar to this in 2010. It was a 2004 with 12K miles and it had only been serviced a few times and had never had the belts changed.

A trip to the dealer revealed a few oil leaks and a bad transmission mount.

Dealer fixed everything and did a FULL service (belts, fluids) for about $7,000.

Since then (3 years) I have driven the car 8K miles with absoolutely NO PROBLEMS or issues of any kind (knock on wood).

My experience has been great - hope yours is as well.

actually car has its original tires (10 yo).

i have decided to pass on the car for many reasons but i do much prefer one which was driven regularly and where maintenance was done in a timely fashion. i mean that's what I do with my daily drivers and that's what i expect with my future F car.
    the hunt continues !

    cheers and thank you all
