Having trouble finding the chassis # to verify if my 575 was an "early build" and therefore would retain the center muffler section...or if it was "later build" and did not...according to a Quicksilver exhaust rep.

I have followed the owners manual...but the chassis number plate is not where it is pictured in the manual...any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Mark

I PDI'd quite a few cars and have never found that the various VIN numbers have not been where they were indicated in the manual. But then those were US cars and since your profile is blank I have no idea what part of the world you are in to advise you.

Ther should at the very least be one on top of the steering column.
