My wife drives this car as her primary car and she/I love it however, we now have 21k miles on it and we have already installed a new clutch (F1) at 13k miles and probably facing another one soon. Are the Ferrari F1's having this same problem? This car is a great work horse & doesn't cost anymore than my 308 to maintain, however this clutch deal is making me crazy at $3200+ per pop!.
    Thanks,
    Dan

I have heard reports ranging from 10K to 30K as normal wear out periods (did an unofficial survey of dealer techs and asked on maseratiforum.net). The lower end of the spectrum is with lots of city driving, on hills, and driven in auto mode. Factory actually says one should not back up on hills. You can actually smell why they say that...
I have a rare 6speed manual coupe, 15K miles and no issues, with lots of city driving.
