    I'm @ the FCA annual concours getting judged and was asked if my air boxes should be black rather than the silver they are. They were silver when I bought it a year ago.

    Any thoughts?

    The judges should know this! Nearly every 360 owner does/should, too. The reason the coupes' are black is because silver ones reflect too much off the rear window glass. Spiders don't have that issue, so Ferrari put silver ones in there because I guess they figure silver ones look better.

    Thanks for all the responses. There was only one other spider at the concours and it had carbon fiber air boxes so that was no help. In a month or so I'll be able to get the judging specifics and see if it made any difference. The car was awarded a silver. Respectable I guess.
