    Hi,

A friend is offering to sell me his 2004 360 Challenge Stradale. It is an offer that cannot be refused. Before I make out the check though...how is the handling on this particular model?
Second, I've had difficulty starting similar vehicles. How is this one started?
Third, where is the manual override, and how would I get the boot to open?

    Thanks.

Stradales do have a start button, and FYI make sure to get a PPI before your cut that check

No offense but some of your questions are very peculiar considering that you plan to purchase such an exclusive and special car. I may be reading this wrong but it almost sounds like you tried to start a Stradale and failed because the emergency power supply switch may be off. Since you think it might be in the front boot somewhere you're trying to figure out how to get in there to switch it on in order to start the car. Again ... no offense if I'm reading this wrong but your questions are a bit odd.

It's possible he had sequencing problems with the alarm fob and the starter button (not resetting the alarm just before starting). If you're not familiar with that, it can appear as if the battery doesn't have enough oomph to start the car.

Why wouldn't his friend, who is offering the car to him, help him start it?

It handles very well, for your other questions, I would suggest you have your friend loan you the owner's manual for a few hours prior to you buying the car. All of your questons should be answered there.

Thanks to those of you who actually answered my questions. Unlike most on here, I am not an aficionado when it comes to these cars. Will let you know how the drive goes.
