I have the slow-down light go on and off for the last couple of months, bad ECU I suspect.

I do not have the warranty booklet, what is the warranty on the ECU and also the trerimel couple?

If it's the CAT ECU (which is sounds like), then it should be covered under a 7 year federal emissions warranty. At least in CA it was with my 355 (both CAT ECU's had to be replaced and the symptom was the "slow down" light coming on at all sorts of random times while driving the car). The problem the 355 had was that the constant heating/cooling cycle of the CAT ECU(s) - due to their location - would cause the outside case to separate from the resign part where the electronics were. This allowed moisture to get in and cause problems. Like I say, on my 355, the local dealer replaced both under warranty. They also replaced the headers (when the air injection tube burned through - or something) and that was covered under the 7 year Federal emissions deal as well.
