Beautiful car! GLWS
Dealers love using the old less tax tactic. I would offer $5000 over their trade offer. Am I missing the location??
It's a US car that I imported into Canada. I'm pretty sure it would not be subject to duty were it to be re-imported into the USA. Also, since it's located only an hour away from the border, it would be easy to ship it within the USA at "internal rates". Not going to trade it.
An extract taken from the following link. Re-import into the USA would appear to be a non-issue. Importing a Motor Vehicle | U.S. Customs and Border Protection Re-Importing A Previously Exported Vehicle ============================ "A vehicle taken from the United States for non-commercial, private use may be returned duty free by proving to CBP that it was previously owned and registered in the United States. This proof may be a state-issued registration card for the automobile or a bill of sale for the car from a U.S. dealer ..."
Bump. Spring is approaching, and although the temptation to drive my TDF 360 will be great (and I'll probably succumb) I'd prefer to sell it. Happy to sell for a fair price but not interested in low ball offers. Thanks.
I'll bump it one last time, then I think I'll redo the post with better photos. Surely somebody out there must want to own this beauty ...
I kicked off at $95K but obviously expect(ed) to sell for less. Realistically, I think it's probably worth circa $85K - $90K. If a serious offer comes my way, I'll obviously look more closely at comparables before agreeing on a price. As stated before, I'm not looking to rip anybody off, similarly, I'm not motivated to consider low-ball offers either.
Bump. Still no bites on my beautiful 360? Admittedly, I haven't pushed too hard for a sale, but I'll take her out, grab some good better photos, and push a bit harder. I'd like her out of my garage before winter sets in if at all possible. In the meantime, this bump will have to do.
Sorry, my inbox was full because my subscription had expired and I hadn't realised that this was the case. It's now fixed. The car's still for sale, although it's winter here in Canada so it's tucked away in its heated garage for the next little while. It would be nice to get a potential sale lined-up for the Spring, at which time I'll get the belt service taken care of (it's due, but not overdue).
I would love to own your car - it is my favorite color combination. The hurdle for me to get over is selling my Noble M400. Fancy a trade? The Noble is enormously faster (500 to 600 hp, depending on boost setting, and 2400 pounds) and more raw, like the CS. At my age (62), I'm ready for something tamer. Here is a link to the web site I created to document the car: My Noble M400 Jeff
It was easy to register the Noble in California, where it is exempt from smog checks. Who'da thunk there was a place tougher than CA? Jeff
I don't know if i need a special membership to private message you but i can't seem to find a way to do so. Can you email me at [email protected] I'm interested in your car. I'm in Canada as well. Thank you
Gents, I'm quite keen to get my gorgeous 360 out of my garage within the next few weeks now that the snow has all but melted I need the space. So if you, or somebody you know, are in the market for a very clean, no stories 360 F1 Spider, please PM me.
Bump. I dearly want to take some decent photos and either add them to this thread, or start a new one, but it's supposed to snow this afternoon, so I'm not quite where I'd like to be weather-wise. I have a crafty plan wherein I will sell the car for a very attractive price if we can put a deal together within the next 4 - 6 weeks. Please PM me if interested.
Here are a few photos that I just snapped inside my garage (there's too much snow outside). She needs a good clean, and will get one just as soon as can wheel her outside, but these will do for now since they give some indication of the degree of wear and tear (which, as you can see, is next to nothing) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
