For Sale 2004 360 Modena Gearbox for Sale

I have recently had my 360 converted from F1 to manual. During the conversion process, discovered that my gearbox synchronizers were shot. Tried for a while to find someone who had new synchronizers and found they are made of unobtainium. So ended up acquiring a new gearbox. After receiving and installing the new gearbox, I managed to find a technician who was able to rebuild the gearbox with brand new synchronizers (which were bad). Turns out I may not have needed to get the new gearbox, but now I have a rebuilt gearbox that I want to sell.

I am asking $10,350 for the rebuilt gearbox ... not including shipping. If you do a search on the web, you will find used gearboxes going from $9000 or so ... but they are used, not rebuilt.

The gearbox has been completely disassembled and all parts inspected. New synchronizers were installed as well as new seals and bearings. All the gears are in excellent condition. During reassembly, all metal parts were coated in lithium grease to ensure lubrication on startup and prevent corrosion.

This gearbox has about 44,000 miles on it. But, as I mentioned, all new seals and bearings and the major components have been inspected and are in excellent condition. No visible signs of wear. The pinion gear (which is always regarded as one of the most expensive components) is in excellent condition. The synchronizers are new.

The photos attached show the gear box in a sturdy plastic shipping container.

GLWS. I wish it was still destroyed so I could practice on one before I tear my gearbox apart.
