You need to ensure that #9 is not pushed in.
The system works as a climate controlled system i.e. heat requires the AC compressor to be running.
    Hope this helps

This is a common misunderstanding with the 360s climate control. The “stop” button activates the ac and heat. It makes no sense and probably confuses every new owner.

This technically isn't a true statement.

The STOP button needs to be out in order for the climate control system to work given the temperature selected on the knob but the AC compressor does not run while the heat is on.

The AC compressor works off a clutch and only engages when the temperature is set low enough and the AC compressor needs to kick in for air conditioning. The compressor won't run when the temperature is set to a hot enough temperature where the heat is coming out.

You would think that Ferrari can simply put a heater valve along a coolant hose with the valve hooked up to a cable and lever, but nope ... it's a Ferrari and should be complex as hell to reflect the selling price of the car.

"You need to ensure that #9 is not pushed in." and "The STOP button needs to be out " amounts to the same thing.
Not sure what your point is, however, not to get into an argument with you the 5 years that I have owned my car (and I do need heat here in the cold north) when the heat is on and the car gets too hot the AC will kick in to momentarily cool it down a bit to MAINTAIN the set temperature.
Obviously your car operates differently but that is how the climate control system works on my 2004.

Fred, you are saying the same thing. He says it is climate control, not heat/cool; that is what you said too. The only difference is he said that the compressor doesn't run all of the time. The compressor turns on only when needed during climate control functions; the compressor does not spin all of the time.

Most climate systems have an “A/C” button that engages the compressor vs the fan only.
Most people get confused thinking “Stop” is “Stop A/C” but NOOO
STOP means “stop working I don’t care if you wanted cold or hot air, I am a Ferrari and work on my own rules”

Yes, the Stop button needs to be pushed out, then turn temperature knob to right at max and the heater should work.
Turn the temperature knob full left and the A/C should work.

In case you need to reset your climate control system please see attached.

    Hope that helps.
