As a 348 owner I’m usually in the 348/355 section, but a friend of mine’s father in law passed away recently and he’s going to be selling the car. It’s a 2004 360 F1 Spider. I’m trying to get an idea for him how much to list it at? This is what I know about the car: Original owner, 28,953 Miles, all books, tools etc, Tubi exhaust, aftermarket wheels, aftermarket wing and diffuser, service receipts. It is a unique color combination with interior and wheels that I know won’t be for everyone. The major service was done at the Ferrari dealership in Newport Beach, Ca. 3 years ago and the car is located in Rancho Mirage, Ca. The dealer offered him 69k. What would be a fair asking range? Thanks for your input, Brent.

As a 2004 Giallo F1 Spider owner, I have the exact same car except mine is black top with black interior but same Daytona seats (yellow piping, yellow Daytona inserts). I just paid $92,500 for mine BUT it is a two owner with 12K miles and the best 360 I could find, minus a three pedal car. All that being said, Giallo with tan top and interior is not a good combo....at all. Plus those mods only hurt the car. If the owner has the stock wheels, I would put those back on, maybe remove that rear piece and ask for a bit more. But like others have stated, $69K is fair.

take it and run is an understatement. that car is atrocious and that's hard to achieve with a 360

First things first. The wheels are actually not a bad design. The problem is the color. He needs to have the wheels refinished. I say black out the wheels except for the all the little bolts. They'll probably have to take them apart. The the extra flap attached to the diffuser needs to get painted black or removed. The tan top doesn’t bother me because who really drives around with the top up is sunny So Cal anyway. Other than that the car is okay for a 360. If all that gets resolved then I would see what other 360F1 spiders have sold for and price it accordingly.

how can you say the car is ok with that wing and body kit? am i looking at the wrong picture? the fact the car is yellow is a non event and the wheels can be changed. i wld never want to own a car whose owner put that body kit on.

Looks like the steering wheel was re-dyed and possible the seats. Neither matches the tan on the dash and doors.

i'd take the 69k and run.

is it just me or are the seats a different color too? the interior, aside from the steering wheel, looks tan/beige but the seats are darker like cuoio

A nice car, but it would be worth more if you removed all the aftermarket stuff.

A dealer offered $69k in cash?

I'm shocked...I would have thought "if" a dealer was willing to buy that car for inventory (a "big if" in my mind), they would be thinking $50k. Looking at those pics (and the fact that the major is now 3 years old, which means the service book says its due, so not a positive), I cannot believe a dealer wants to pay cash to buy that car. Take it on a trade? Maybe if there is a big profit on the new car being bought. Finding a buyer for that is 1 in a million and service due/costs are unknown.

Did the dealer say "asking price should be $69k"? (rather than "here is $69k in cash for that car).

Take it quickly. As in this morning. And cash the check before noon.

Wow, if they offered you 69k for a car with mods an F1 and a unpopular color combo, they are the only ones that are going to lose money. I would thonk it would take you forever to sell it at 60. Take the offer and don't look back.

exactly. That dealer is an idiot if they are buying that car for $69k in cash for their inventory. They will be in it for $75-80k after service and selling costs. Nuts. Something tells me something was lost in translation along the way from dealer to father-in-law's family to OP.

The steering wheel looks like it is from a different colored interior perhaps the airbag blew on the original steering wheel?

For quick money, $69k is pretty good. These cars can sit for a loooong time on the market.
That said, if your buddy wants to wring a few thousand more out of it, and isn’t in a hurry, he can do the following pretty cheaply and take his chances on the summer market.
Dye steering wheel black (I paid a guy $100 to do mine and it looks perfect). Id consider redyeing the yellow interior accents to black as well.
Refinish wheels or replace with starfish.
    Remove aftermarket body stuff.
It’s great that the major was done 3years ago, but that means it’s due for another in 1-2yrs.

    Meh....take the $69k.

That will be an awesome car for someone once they change the roof, steering wheel, seats, take the wing and body kit off and put stock wheels on.

First time I am seeing a tan colored top. It's not pretty. And that steering wheel has something weird going on... it looks to be almost pink?!

Take the 69k and do a fast exit.
