Less than 25 miles ago engine out service completed. No valve adjustment required, however a couple leaks were fixed. At the same time, coils, plugs, tires and battery were all replaced. Some confusion re year. When I bought the car I was told it was a 2004. When I called Porsche NA to obtain the USA import letter of compliance, they indicated it was a 2005. They just called back to advise they're not sure. If it is a 2004, it's very late in the 2004 production. They'll research and clarify. If you want send me the VIN and I will run it in carfax to see the year. Also the tenth digit of the VIN indicates the year so "4" will make it a 2004 and "5" will be 2005
Will be a 2004 because of the VIN, countries like China I believe go off of the production date and not the vin....

You talking about me. Still smarting after one of my stupidest decisions ever (selling it). Nothing, nothing can match the CGT driving experience. Drove the 918 at Joliet track and then CGT home, night and day difference.
