Michelin PS predate the PS2. They are by this time as hard as cement, disecting, and dangerous. Michelin says 5 years and throw out. GTS Bruce

Tires are brand new old stock. No cracks, dry rot, no wear, and keep climate controlled.
I can't throw away new tires. Perfect condition.
I figured someone would make a comment on this, come by and see them for yourself or send a friend, you are welcome anytime.
    100 perfect.

The things that make an old tire dangerous are not necessarily visually obvious to a typical consumer, so your offer to allow potential buyers to inspect them is not as valuable as it might appear.

How Old - and Dangerous - Are Your Tires?

How to Find Out How Old Your Tires Are - Popular Mechanics

It might be useful to know just how old they are. FYI, here's how to get that info:

    Thank you for your insight.
The buyer is more than welcome to throw them away and buy new ones. :)

You're welcome, one of the things I like about FChat is that there are many folks who are happy to correct potentially dangerously wrong statements. =D

BTW, why would anyone need to throw away "100 perfect" tires in "perfect condition"? Is that an admission on your part that based on the info in the homepages I've linked, that statement is possibly (likely?) not true?

First, congratulations on the sale, I really do mean that.

Next, by posting that link, are you suggesting that the seller's "properly stored [the tires] in a tire manufacturers' warehouse or in Tire Rack distribution centers"? So you're saying the tires were stored there until now and it is only very recently that they've been mounted on wheels?

So just how old are those tires, did you have a chance to check the sidewall codes? I recall riding on PS2s a decade ago, which means that your tires could be at least that old.

Mateo, congratulations on your sale of the 19" 575 modular wheels.

As you can see from my avatar, I am a big fan of putting the 19" modulars on a 550.
I'm sure whoever bought your wheels will be thrilled with them.

The 19" modulars, in good condition, rarely come up for sale.
    Congrats to whoever bought them.

I (as well as at least one other FChatter) pointed out possible inaccuracies in what you posted, inaccuracies, that, if I'm right and the tires are over a decade old and in not-good condition, then you've sold items that are dangerously not as you describe and, in the case of a tread separating from its carcass, might result in injury. So regardless of how funny you find all of this to be, at the very least, I hope you've learned to be more careful about what you write, about representing things as being in perfect condition? And, perhaps, not to be defensive about valid comments? =)

Dee it seems you have made your mind up so I won't try and change it. I am an honest guy. Please note the following:

    Mateo- Happy Seller
    B.P. in NY- Happy buyer.
Deetee- Some guy in Japan that keeps arguing...

Kindly let me know if you don't understand the above :)

We should try and move on :)

You've failed from the start to answer a question about a critical aspect of the tires with a fairly straightforward answer. I haven't made up my mind about anything but would have a better idea after knowing their age. However, your request that we move on now makes it clear that you don't intend to ever respond, i.e., "we should move on" in reality means "I, Honest Mateo, will not answer," so yah, I suppose there is no point in continuing this conversation. And, to borrow your phrase, "kindly let me know if you don't understand the above." =D
