2005 - 2007 F430 Purchase

I am a 2x 360 owner and considering my first F430. I am interested in a local 2005 F1 coupe. Is there anything to watch out for in the 2005 since it was the first year or should I lean toward an '06-'07? thanks for your comments....

 

I have an 05 and it has been problem free. All the service/warranty campaigns were done before I bought it. If I remember there was and exhaust system bracket campaign and a engine sensor. Annual service is MUCH less on the 430 vs to 360.

 

Also some reports of a creaking roof weld.

Have an 05 with 13k on it, outside of normal service there have been no issues. Good luck!!

 

I have a 2005 from new and the only thing I would add other than checking the factory updates is the exhaust manifolds. There is a new design and looks like all the earlier ones will fail, probably sooner than later. Some states may require these be warrantied beyond the standard 3 years but the only way to be certain is to talk to your local dealer. You can also get the cost if they are out of warranty.
