    Wanted to know how many keys should come with the car ? Looking to buy a 2005 612 very soon. Thanks in advance

    612s came with two keys/remotes. If you go to ferraridatabase.com, you can download a 612 owners manual and it will help answer answer those types of questions. Note the 612 and F430 were the first Ferraris with a modern, lithium watch battery powered remote system. Earlier cars came with a 2 key and 3 separate fob system with early 80s technology and alkaline battery power for the fobs.

    I'm trying to buy an 599 key (red), will it work? I can't seem to find any uncut blade
    for this new type of key(3 button )? anyone know where to get them?

    thanks for any info.

    They appear to be the same. Instructions for both are identical in the owners manuals and they look identical. Ask your dealer to make sure.

    I have seen F430 keys on E-Bay, but do not know about 612/599 keys because the V12 cars were produced in much lower numbers.

    Ricambi should be able to provide the blanks and up to 8 keys can be programmed into the system. If Ricambi cannot provide, a Ferrari dealer may be your only choice. Expect the blank to be relatively expensive.
