    I heard somewhere and have always believed that one of the most important design aspects of a corvette was insuring two sets of clubs will fit in the hatch. I've been a nut over golf in years past and would have definitely cared whether a car I bought could fit clubs. I get it. If you have the time, which I haven't in recent years, golf can be very addicting.

    Patlew, you are obviously not a dedicated golfer! No problem... but for those of us who are read on...

    One of life's great joys is for my wife and I to pack up our Aston Vantage for a 3-4 day golf trip on the great driving roads in northern Michigan and Wisconsin. I am a golf aficionado as well as a car nut. There many opportunities to enjoy both. Why not combine both of my passions to spend more seat time touring amongst some of the most scenic environs in this great country?

    I have also owned a euro-spec.1980 400i (33219) for more than 30 years and it has served me well but it is now in need of serious repainting and leather restoration at 70,000km. It was a weekly spring-fall driver for me for much of its life but has been largely garage bound for the last 10 years. However, these cars are meant to be used as part of our lives as much as possible.

    I was a dedicated golfer for a time, and hope to be again. Miss it. I never got better than an 8 handicap, but that was good enough for me. Loved it. Lucky to break 100 these days, just don't get out.

    Thanks for the bump :) I'm starting to look at doing the couple little odds and ends she needs, little stereo wiring, couple sticky parts maybe. If she doesn't go soon, I may decide to keep her another year.

    Beautiful car.

    I get two golf bags in my 612's trunk. I take out the drivers and put them in first, but it all fits.

    I have it discounted here at $94k, listed at $97k on Cars. Lots of great recent service, running smooth as a baby's bottom, dry as a bone, paint is perfect, tires are good. Ready for some serious miles.
