My F430 is due in for exhaust check up for loose tail pipes. I removed my air diffuser and confirmed my brackets are still as new. The dealer could confirm the campaign would still be open if/ when mine ever broke ( a very common failure Im told). After I reviewed the "L" shaped bracket, it was clear a strap connecting the triangle would likely add allot of robustness. Has anybody just did a preemptive strike and shored up the brackets. Mine is out of warranty and i have doubts about complete coverage "later on" It looks like a very easy updates.

Really not sure why you would question completing the compaign. Obviously the update will only offer piece of mind and complete your open campaign.

I question the campaign because my dealer stated they only CHECK the status and if not loose they do nothing and couldnt confirm how long the campaign would be open I checked mine and confirmed their fine, likely due to very low miles and limited use ( or lucky). I speculated my future was no update, maybe break later and maybe get help?. I figured a proactive approach may be to bolster the bracket and assure robustness. I suppose the million dollar question is, what will happen later if I just do the check up and require repair later, but I may lose the opportunity to bolster at that point. My dealer isnt the most proactive i guess.

I do appreciate the feedback. Thanks...getting it out today, finally nice in Detroit today!

BTW, Drew, your car pictured is beautiful!
